FAQ

+ What is a Digital C-Print?

The precise colors and contours created by the Chromira laser exposure system have given the Digital C-Print a unique reputation among experts and enthusiasts around the world. The resulting prints display the sharpest contours without pixellation. Clear details and rich, authentic colors let your image shine. After it is exposed on silver halide paper, we develop your photo using a traditional photochemical process. This combination of old-fashioned development and modern technology turns this photograph into a unique gallery print of the highest quality.

The Chromira print on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper meets the most demanding standards. It is sharp, brilliant, and its colors are luminous. Professional photographers rely on its combination of ultra-modern laser technology, traditional photochemical development, and the renowned, high-end photo paper from Fujicolor, which is the leading photo paper for gallery prints. This photo paper has an extremely broad color range and is colorfast for 75 years.

+ What are Editions?

An edition tells the Collector the total amount of duplicates in this certain size of one particular image; it protects the integrity of the art piece. ARThaus determines carefully, together with the Artist, the specified number of prints within one edition. Every Limited Edition Print includes a Certificate of Authenticity with the corresponding edition number and the Artist's signature.

+ What edition number will I receive?

When purchasing an limited edition photograph, the next available edition number is automatically assigned to your Print. The Certificate of Authenticity is mailed separately from the Print for security reasons.
